It's so close I can taste it....

The semester is almost over!! It's gone by so fast, it's crazy. I'm going to miss Rexburg and I've made some really good friends this semester, but I am still really excited to go home. This summer should be pretty awesome.

Today Camille and I made pizza for our good friend B-ryce! I am so proud of us! We totally kicked some trash.....ok ok, yeah, we were freaking out for a little bit because of some yeast issues, but it's all good. The pizza tasted gooooooood. We made a pretty good team.....we should get jerzees ha
So I have recently (more like a day ago) decided that I don't want to pursue law school. We were talking in my government class and our teacher told us just how much work law students have to do. I mean, I knew that it was a lot, but it didn't occur to me just how much it was until that day. I pretty much crossed that idea off of my list really fast. Plus, I really want to be Super Mom and I want to be there for my children when I have them. I think that a being a lawyer would sort of interfer with that. After all of this, I came to the conclusion that I want to minor in photography and keep my psychology major. I was thinking about how much I love photography and how I don't want to give that up.....ever. Why not do something I enjoy? Life is too short to be stuck doing something that doesn't bring you joy. Maybe I can open my own business someday. Who knows? All I know is that right now, not having a definate, set in stone plan feels just fine. I don't mind it at all!

Go Brad!

So I'm pretty stoked that I have my first follower....that's right, it took about a week for this to happen. Oh well! Whoo, thanks Brad! Oh, and also, I JUST NOW finished my final photography project! I'm so stoked it's done! I wish I wouldn't have procrastinated like I did...I could have done a much better job, but I'm actually kinda proud of what it is now. But don't worry, I plan on improving my photo skills, but still...not too bad for my first class!

Do Not Jump!

So I had one of those experiences today that I always experience, but just now decide to actually voice it. I'm sure we have all been part of the following....So I was walking out of devotional chatting with my friend Joanna and her friend (I don't remember what they call her), and I noticed that Joanna was looking around to see if the person she had been expressing her opinion on was present. I assured her he was not....oops, i mean, "they" were not (it could have very well been a girl). So I glanced around me to make sure that I was not going to say something and then turn out to be a liar. I'm sure you have done the same....Anyways, as I turn around, a girl with her group of friends behind me, makes slight eye contact with me and automatically assumes that I turned around to look at her so that she would stop talking. Now, have have a couple issues with this assumption....1. What the heck makes you think that you are so important that I was listening to your loud conversation and took the initiative to glance directly at YOU? I mean seriously, who does that? A mini-second of slight frustration towards her crossed my mind, but then I thought to myself, "Aw, maybe I should just let her feel important for a second. She might not get that too often, but hey, who am I to judge?" 2. We were walking outside! I personally do not care what you were talking about, how loud you were saying it, or who you were saying it about. I do not know you and I am not one of those people to be like, "oh my gosh! We are outside, for goodness sake, tone it down!" Not me at all.
So, over the weekend, I decided to buy my first pair of skinny jeans. I know, you may be thinking, "what an emo," but honestly, emo-ness was not my intention. I just wanted to try it out. Anyways, this specific pair of jeans had a hole in the knee (on purpose, of course). It wasn't even a big hole, so I wasn't too worried about it at all. Well, last night, we went over to our FHE bros apartment to watch Dancing With the Stars. On the way back, my roommate, Camille and I, were having one of our daily, routine, harmless fights, except this one got a little violent. On the way out the door, I was shoved into the nearby staircase (don't worry, it was harmless), and she quickly took off running. I walked for a little bit and she stopped running. "Psh," I thought, "I'll get her back sometime later. I don't feel like running." So we walked up the stairs to our complex. When we reached our destined floor, she took off running, and I decided to do the same. I guess it was sort of a race to the room, I don't really know. I came upon the set of 4 stairs that led down to our door and decided that I was going to jump them. I proceeded with the jump, and I am 99.27% sure that my feet hit the ground, but if and when they did, something went wrong. I hit the ground and did a couple rolls. My hands were a little scuffed up and my jeans (the ones that would be assumed to be emo), ripped. They ripped right on the hole, which led to an even bigger hole in the knee of my brand new jeans. I played it off cool, but inside, I'm a little upset :(. Due to honor code policies, I am afraid I will not be able to wear these jeans on campus again. I guess the moral of the story is....don't jump more than 3 stairs at a time. When it reaches 4 stairs, it gets a little sketchy. Your jeans will rip.

It's about time!

So, before I start, I would just like to wish all a Happy Spring!! Seriously, I am so glad that warm weather is finally here! I was beginning to think that Rexburg had no conception of "sun" at all. I know, quite a depressing thought, right? But the weather today was amazing! And you could definately tell in people's mood! Ok, so enough talk about the weather....I would just like to give a shout out to Issac Hanson; that's right, THE Issac Hanson, as in the Hanson brothers! Yes ladies and gentlemen, the band Hanson. You know, the one's that used to look like girls and that didn't have their voices drop until their later years in life? Well, I'm actually a huge fan and today while I was watching Sabrina the Teenage Witch (I know, my life is so hip!) Issac totally guest starred! I was in awe! I think my heart skipped a beat! Out of all the Hanson boys, he is definately my fav! So, my dearest Issac, if you by some chance come across my blog someday and read this....cheers! Long live the Hanson bros!

Are you serious?

OK, so, today in my Agronomy class, my teacher decided to take us to the Rexburg Water Sanitation plant or something like that....aka the POOP PLANT! All week I have contemplated the reasoning behind this expedition, but no rhyme or reason has come to me. So today, we journeyed to the land of stink. It wasn't too far from campus and you could definately smell when you were getting close. Our professor gave us the tour and everything and everything was going well until he told us to explore the little building off to the side ( I honestly do not remember what purpose the building served, but I remember that it contained a pool of poopy water). Of course, in fear of a drop in my grade, I did as I was told. Everything was fine until all of a sudden, and unkown substance, which still remains unknown DRIPS ON MY HEAD! GROSS!! Needless to say, I freaked out. I mean, wouldn't you if you possibly had poop on your head? Wow, what an experience. Moral of the story: Don't go to a poop plant expecting that nothing will happen to you. You never know what's coming down. And for those of you wondering...yes, my head is now "poop" free.

Thought I would give this a try...

Hey guys!! Ok, so normally I would tell you I am not the blogging type. And I really don't know how this is going to work out, but I decided to give it a try! I also figured that it would be pretty tight to keep my fans (haha) updated because I spend half the year in Idaho, going to school, and the other half in Indiana....HOME!!! So here it is! My new blog! Who knows, it might be kinda good!
